Job Location: The position is based in Kaharole Upazila of Dinajpur District and with regular travel to upazila and union level for implementation of project activities smoothly.
Work Experiences (Min.):
• Minimum 02 years of professional work experience in relevant sectors.
• Proficiency in Computer operation (MS Office, PPT, Database, Email and Multiple google browser)
• Excellent written communication skills in both English and Bengali.

Organization Overview:
Dipshikha is a renowned non-governmental organization (NGO) in Bangladesh. Dipshikha was initiated by a group of social workers, school teachers and youth in 1978 in a village called Rudrapur, Dinajpur. Dipshikha is a Bengali word meaning "Spark of Light". It is a non-governmental, non-political, non-profit voluntary organization working in rural development. Dipshikha- a sparkle, commits itself to poverty alleviation, establishment of equal opportunities, peace and justice by ensuring formational education, appropriate agriculture, hygiene, sanitation, skills promotion and supports for income generation adjustable as time requires for the development of the poor, marginalized and deprived of the rural, semi-urban and urban communities in descending priority. Dipshikha, with a team of dedicated, skilled and competent workers, cherishes and practices the principles of human dignity, ethical values, participation, teamwork, mutual respect and inter-religious harmony with clearly defined policies. Dipshikha is going to implement a project named " Integrated & Inclusive Rehab Solutions in Bangladesh (IIR-SiB)" in Dinajpur district, which is financially and technically supported by the Liliane Fonds, The Netherlands, and Centre for Disability in Development (CDD). The aim of the project is ‘Enhance access to affordable, quality and inclusive rehabilitation services for Children and Youth with disabilities (CYwDs ) in rural Bangladesh by integrating rehabilitation into mainstream health systems, expanding community-based solutions, and leveraging innovative service delivery models, enhancing their functional independence, participation and social inclusion.’
Job Responsibilities
• Conduct assessments and provide rehabilitation services for children, youth, and other persons with disabilities at the rehabilitation centre.
• Provision of customized assistive devices (e.g., wheelchairs, crutches, special seating chairs) through appropriate assessment, measurement, and timely delivery.
• Provide training and guidance to caregivers on home-based exercises and continuation of therapeutic activities.
• Establish, maintain and document internal and external referral pathways for advanced treatment, hearing and visual services, and rehabilitation camps.
• Refer clients to relevant mainstream service providers at the field level for unmet needs.
• Support the preparation of reports, including case studies, lessons learned, and client progress reports, as required and within short timelines.
• Support the supervisor in preparing periodic reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, in line with organisational and donor requirements.
• Conduct follow-up visits at the community level and support tele-rehabilitation services as required.
• Provide technical assistance to Rehabilitation Assistants, CBR Officer, CBR Facilitators, and Community Interns in conducting community and courtyard awareness sessions on disability prevention, disability rights, disability etiquette, and related topics, as required.
• Contribute to advocacy and awareness-raising initiatives in close collaboration with project teams and local health authorities to promote inclusive and quality rehabilitation services.
• Maintain regular coordination with representatives of the Upazila Health Complex, as well as other relevant health actors operating in Kaharole Upazila.
• Maintain regular coordination, documentation and reporting to the Project Coordinator in a timely manner.
• Ensure accountability, safeguarding, child protection and gender policy.
• Ensure safety and appropriate utilization of therapeutic equipment and materials.
• Participate in internal and external coordination meetings and represent the project as required.
• Perform any other responsibility/ special duty delegated by the project and Dipshikha management.
