Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Maximum 45 years or flexible for highly deserving applicants. At least 3 years of working experience in Disaster Management/Climate Change Adaptation (CCA)/Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR)/Early Warning System (EWS) projects will gibe preference.
∎ At least 5 years of working experience in Disaster Management relevant projects for project management and operation.
∎ The applicant should have Project Manager/Coordinator level experience with reputed NGOs/Institutes/INGOs or UN agencies.
∎ Must have an Android Smartphone for survey using Kobo tools.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Responsible for the household survey conduction in assigned unions after collecting upazila/union secondary vulnerable households database for update with active Bkash number reviewing NID at door steps.
∎ Planning and implementation of all activities as per work plan and budget maintaining compliances.
∎ Maintain liaison with Union DMC (Disaster Management Committee) members at union levels for the conduction of flood-vulnerable households survey using Kobo tools, reviewing NID for active Bkash numbers, community resilience building to disasters, create awareness on flood early warning system (EWS) of FFWC, training and orientation to volunteers, community leaders, Mock drills, DMC members etc.
∎ Work with LGI (Local govt. institution) for secondary vulnerable household list/data collection, verification, DMC meeting arrangement and meeting minutes collection, event report preparation and sharing etc.
∎ Regular survey data verification to ensure data quality based on household information, secondary database and existing data at the field level with the daily target.
∎ To prepare and send to the supervisor every weekly/monthly progress and financial documents and report preparation, case story and event reports etc.
∎ Taking appropriate steps to ensure project rules and orders with donor and organizational policies.§ Support the project in achieving the planned activities daily within the deadline.
∎ Maintain liaison with donors, organizational management and govt, line officials (Union chairman/member/secretary), community, volunteers, religious leaders, DMC members effectively.
∎ Follow the organization's Child Safeguarding, PSEA, Gender, HR, Finance, Procurement, Humanitarian Response Policy, and WB Policy.
∎ Maintain humanitarian national and international standards applicable.
∎ Expertise in Kobo tools, MS Office (PowerPoint, word, excel), good command of Bangla and English speaking and writing.
∎ Jagorani Chakra Foundation (JCF) is a national voluntary social welfare organization. JCF is going to implement the Anticipatory Action to Vulnerable Households in Food-Prone Areas of Padma River Basin Bangladesh (WFP-AA) Project at Manikganj supported by WFP. To ensure the quality implementation of the project, JCF intends to recruit project staff from qualified candidates of Bangladeshi nationals. Primarily the project duration is July 2024.
