Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree from any recognized university preferably LL.B / LL.M (Membership in Bangladesh Bar Council ) or Masters in Social Science
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for day to day implementation of the project activities at the field level under the project titeled "Defending Environmental Rights and Promoting Justice" funded by SIDA.
∎ Prepare and implement the weekly action plan;
∎ Undertake regular field visits and and prepare reports, collect documents from the government and relevant departments;
∎ Recommend actions on the basis of the field visits and follow-up accordingly;
∎ Organize and facilitate events/ programs;
∎ Attend different coordination meetings;
∎ Prepare periodic progress reports, case stories;
∎ Communicate with relevant government, non-government offices, professionals, media, local leaders & communities;
∎ Supervise functioning of other members of the field office;
∎ Administer the field office;
∎ Oversee maintenance of accounts;
∎ Conduct field visit as per HO requirements;
∎ Must have organizing skill within short notice.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Should have at least 5 years of work experience;
∎ Experience in community work, knowledge on environment and development issues will be appreciated;
∎ Needs to have ability to work independently, and lead a team;
∎ Good command over English and Bangla language and computer literacy skills (MS word, power point, internet).
Salary:
∎ Monthly gross salary with other benefits will be with other benefits as per organization policy.
