Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Regular field visits to the camp area to implement the activities followed by specific guidance for ensuring the quality and quantity of activities being carried out.
∎ Perform and report day to day task allocated by line manager for implementation of shelter, site development, NFI and community mobilization activities
∎ Conduct community level meetings, trainings, joint participation under supervision of line manager
∎ Conduct situation analysis, baseline survey, other study and identify project beneficiaries.
∎ Ensure beneficiaries, laborers, CM are following project implementation guidelines to complete project activities within the agreed timeframe and to the highest standards.
∎ Support and supervise the activities of Cash for work, Community Mobilizers, volunteers.
∎ Direct checking of ongoing activities implementing by beneficiaries.
∎ Implementation support to emergency response of the assigned camp
∎ Information management and reporting
∎ Assess needs of Shelter/NFI and site improvement activities at Camp level following guidelines.
∎ Support data collection and record keeping measuring the progress as planned
∎ Prepare activity wise documentation (photographs, meeting resolution etc).
∎ Prepare different types of report as per requirement of line manager.
∎ Coordination, networking and
∎ advocacy
∎ Coordinate with the local community leaders, Majhi and SMS volunteers for implementation project activities.
∎ Ensure participation of the beneficiaries in the project activities directly.
∎ Capacity Strengthening
∎ Conduct training/Orientation session, Meetings to the Labors, Community Mobilizers, beneficiaries on different topics of Shelter/NFI and site improvement.
∎ Participate in different trainings nominated by the line manager.

∎ Monitor the proper use of materials, financial and human resources at field level.
∎ Organize/support proper storage for the any project materials at field level.
∎ Safety and Security
∎ Provide timely incident report to the line manager as needed.
∎ Ensure safety and security own and the project materials at field level.

∎ Proactively support its commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity: i) Implement all work-related activities with a gender, disability and child protection lens, considering the different needs, concerns and ideas of our staff and beneficiaries ii)Ensure the incorporation of gender equity principles in all policies and activities iii) Encourage the participation of all genders in meeting and on committees iv)Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.

∎ This organization support projects to combat hunger, poverty and injustice in 31 countries on four continents. It also provides emergency relief for victims of natural disasters and armed conflict worldwide and supports the welfare and social work of the Reformed Churches in Eastern Europe and in the Middle East. In Switzerland, the organization champions the rights and the integration of refugees and socially disadvantaged people. It’s a member of the ACT Alliance.
∎ GENERAL CONTEXT AND BACKGROUND:
∎ It has been active in Bangladesh since 1975 and is registered by the NGO Affairs Bureau. Its development cooperation department mostly focusses on projects for ethnic minorities (Dalits and Adivasi) in Northern Bangladesh. Humanitarian aid interventions in the Rohingya response are managed directly by the Humanitarian Aid Department from an own office in Cox’s Bazar and field offices.
∎ Since 2017 it implements Rohingya response projects in Cox’sbazar with an overall volume of some 6 Million USD. Since 2019 the Humanitarian Aid office based in Cox’s Bazar directly implements projects. The main donors are: Swiss Solidarity (SwS), Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), World Health Organization (WHO) The international Organization for Migration (IOM) and is own fund. The biggest interventions are implemented in the construction-related sectors Shelter & Settlements and WASH, After the outbreak of COVID-19, it has also initiated project a response to the pandemic.
