Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Should be responsible for total administration of Internal Control and Compliance (ICC) Division of the company.
∎ Complying or implementing Core Risk Management or relevant guidelines as set by Bangladesh Bank.
∎ Comply with laws and regulatory guidelines by Bangladesh Bank and other regulators.
∎ Complying or Implementing all Anti-Money Laundering guidelines and circulars as set by Bangladesh Bank and Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU).
∎ Issues relating to the Risk, Legal & Compliance and other control related activities to be addressed.
∎ Execute Internal Audits on regular basis as per plan, policy & strategy approved by the Audit Committee and prepare timely Audit Reports for the Management, the Audit Committee and the Board of Directors of the company.
∎ Follow-up on the resolutions of audit findings and post update to Audit Committee.
∎ Ensure adequate and effective internal control system and assist the Management in formulating pertinent policies and operational procedures.
∎ Work as “Head of Complaint Cell’ to resolve all complaints according to the Complaint Management Policy of the Company/Regulator.
∎ Ensure that the Company meets all regulatory requirements and earn a good credit rating and CAMELS rating.
∎ Review ongoing changes of regulatory guidelines and business and organizational changes.
∎ Coordinate and direct audit team to perform an internal audit and Bangladesh Bank audit.
∎ Any other tasks that are given by the Board/Audit Committee/Senior Management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5-7 years experience in Compliance functions including AML/CFT functions of Bank/NBFI.
∎ Qualified or part-qualified professionals from ICAB, ICAEW, ACCA, CIA, CISA will be preferred.
∎ Should have knowledge about all relevant Circulars of Bangladesh Bank and other regulatory bodies.
∎ Capable of planning, organizing and carrying out the internal audit function including the preparation of an audit plan, scheduling and assigning work to the audit team.
∎ Good presentation skills with proficiency in writing/compiling quality reports.
∎ Must have leadership capability to manage and motivate staff.
