Experience:
Bachelor degree in Fashion Design from a reputed university
Minimum 3–6 years of experience in fashion design with a focus on woven fabrics.
Strong understanding of woven fabric properties and construction techniques.
Experience with sustainable woven fabrics and eco-friendly practices.
Familiarity with garment manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of textile finishing and dyeing processes.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD software.
Strong sketching and illustration skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Now, we are seeking a dynamic & energetic person to join us as “Fashion Designer (Woven Fabrics)”. The candidate has to perform following responsibilities:
Design Development:
Create original clothing designs using own (woven) fabrics.
Develop seasonal collections from concept to final prototype.
Select suitable woven fabrics, trims, and embellishments.
Create mood boards, sketches, CADs, and technical drawings.
Fabric & Material Expertise:
Work closely with fabric suppliers to source woven materials.
Understand fabric properties such as weight, texture, weave, and drape.
Ensure fabric compatibility with design and intended garment use.
Production & Sampling:
Collaborate with pattern makers and sample units to create prototypes.
Evaluate sample garments and make necessary adjustments for fit and finish.
Ensure production feasibility and cost-effectiveness of designs.
Trend & Market Research:
Monitor market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activity.
Translate global fashion trends into commercially viable designs.
Team Collaboration:
Coordinate with merchandisers, marketing, and technical teams.
Provide design support and direction throughout the production cycle.
