Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Fashion Designer will be responsible for designing new fashion offerings, creating detailed sketches and models, selecting fabrics and textiles appropriate for the design, and ensuring that the end product is a perfect fit for the customer.
∎ Candidate must have Problem Solving Skills, Creative Design Skills, Proactivity and Sewing skills.
∎ Research current trend Designs and able to sales forecasts to create market for the Company.
∎ Frequently visit sourcing hub, capable to select as well as source fabrics, trims, fastenings and embellishments.
∎ Analyze and understand different fabric qualities, pattern making, fits, Sizes and technical aspects of garment construction to operate our online shop and future retails outlets smoothly.
∎ Lead design team and create outstanding design.
∎ Ensure product designs which are tested on models and make necessary adjustments/changes before offering the same to customers in our retail outlets.
∎ Perform cost analysis for each design and develop products according to order to attract customers.
∎ Support marketing team by adding value to its clients, understand and research new product development opportunities for our online shop and future retail outlets.
∎ Continuous follow-up and communicate with production team in order to explain the design as well as follow up production quality to meet ultimate expectation.
∎ To keep up with fashion trends, you must visit other competitor’s outlets frequently on regular basis.
∎ Maintain liaison with sales/ marketing to ensure the item suits the customer, market and price points.
∎ Co-ordinate with Photoshoot, campaign shoots etc.
∎ Maintain season wise yearly budget plan, keep proper documentation, update design records.
∎ Maintain Daily basis analysis and Records of delivered designs at go-down and report to the Manager.
∎ Good sense of color.
