∎ Must be willing to work for both International and Local brands (Western Fashion)
∎ We are looking for a fashion designer that can take Design Concept to a Product.
∎ Must have experience working with Complex products such as Jumpsuits and sportswear
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Making collection based on buyers requirements.
∎ Candidates must have fashion knowledge on variety..
∎ Work closely and directly with production house.
∎ Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors and shapes.
∎ Responsibility of Hand Drawing, Graphic Designs for Product Presentations & Sketches, Tech pack and measurement chart with grading.
∎ Understanding design from a technical perspective, i.e. producing patterns, toiles and technical specifications for designs;
∎ Sourcing, selecting and buying fabrics, trims, fastenings and embellishments;
∎ Ensure the timely and successful design and development of products in line with the customers' requirement.
∎ Adapting existing designs for mass production;
∎ Developing a pattern that is cut and sewn into sample garments and supervising the creation of these, including fitting, detailing and adaptations;
∎ Overseeing production Should have good sense of product quality, creativity, innovation, assembling and washing.
∎ Knowledge of garment production, fabric consumption and costing is an advantage.
∎ Has to have connections and access to multiple small factories.
