Responsibilities & Context:
- Oversee daily operations of the rice processing unit (from paddy intake to final rice packaging).
- Monitor the performance of milling, polishing, grading, and packaging processes.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand and quality standards.
- Coordinate raw material (paddy) procurement and inventory planning.
- Ensure timely dispatch of finished products.
- Monitor rice quality at each stage (moisture content, grain length, purity, fumigation etc.).
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production reports.
- Report to senior management on productivity, quality, and plant performance.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of raw and finished materials.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, sales, and finance departments.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Manage attendance, discipline, and performance appraisals.
