- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in fabric sourcing
- Strong knowledge of fabric types, constructions, finishes (woven & knit)
- Access to local and overseas fabric mills and suppliers
- Excellent product knowledge with the ability to meet buyer expectations
- Strong price point sourcing ability with a good understanding of cost dynamics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Responsibilities & Context:
What you’ll do……
- Source and develop fabrics across woven and knit categories
- Manage and maintain relationships with fabric mills and suppliers (local & international)
- Ensure timely sourcing in line with buyer requirements and seasonal trends
- Negotiate pricing and terms to meet margin targets
- Evaluate fabric quality and suitability according to buyer specifications
- Coordinate with design, merchandising, and production teams.
- Monitor fabric market trends and innovation to drive competitive advantage
