• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in yarn development, spinning R&D, or quality control in a spinning mill or textile R&D setup.

• Good understanding of fiber properties and yarn behavior in various spinning systems (ring, rotor, compact, air-jet).

• Hands-on experience with textile testing and lab equipment Exposure to functional, eco-friendly, or specialty yarns (e.g., recycled, core-spun, stretch yarns).

• Familiarity with yarn testing standards (USTER, ASTM, ISO).

• Basic knowledge of process optimization techniques (e.g., Six Sigma, SPC).

• Working knowledge of ERP or PLM systems for managing technical data.

Now, we are seeking a dynamic & energetic person to join us as “Executive/Sr. Executive, R&D (Yarn Development)”. The candidate has to perform following responsibilities:

• Support the development of new yarns using natural, synthetic, or blended fibers based on performance and customer requirements.

• Assist in lab trials and small-batch production for testing new yarn formulations.

• Monitor and analyze spinning parameters such as twist, draft, spindle speed, and blend ratios.

• Conduct and record yarn tests (CSP, TPI, elongation, evenness, strength, etc.) using lab instruments like USTER and Tensorapid.

• Maintain detailed documentation of trials, test results, specifications, and process settings.

• Collaborate with production for bulk trials and implement changes based on R&D findings.

• Evaluate new raw materials (fibers, finishes, functional additives) in coordination with the sourcing team.

• Keep track of market trends, competitor products, and new fiber technologies.

• Ensure that all yarn developments meet internal quality standards and customer expectations.

• Follow up with quality and sales teams on feedback from sampling or product trials.
