Job Responsibilities:
∎ Having sound knowledge on SLCP, Higg (FEM & FSLM) along with self-assessment and third-party verification for different buyers;
∎ Coordinating all aspects of pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health, conservation and renewable energy;
∎ Maintaining all environmental data like Electricity, Natural Gas, Diesel, Water, Wastewater, Wastage materials etc.
∎ Arranging monthly environmental testing like Air, Noise, Temperature, Light, Humidity, Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS), Volatile organic compounds (VOC) etc. through authorized service providers and keep update test report.
∎ Devising the best tools and systems to monitor Performance KPI on Environment and to implement strategies on GHG emissions reduction, energy efficiency improvement.
∎ Working for certification audits like GRS, RCS, OEKO-TEX, BSCI, WRAP, SEDEX, C-TPAT, etc.
∎ Developing and implementing environmental strategies and action plans that ensure factory’s sustainable development;
∎ Sustainability Program Recommendations implementation and monitoring all issues in the factory
∎ Conducting internal audits and prepare Corrective Action Plan (CAP) to solve the relevant issues.
∎ Leading the implementation of environmental policies and practices;
∎ Carrying out impact assessments to identify, assess and reduce an organization’s environmental risks and financial costs;
∎ Promoting and raising awareness, at all levels of an organization, of the impact of emerging environmental issues, whether legislative or best practice, on corporate, ethical and social responsibility;
∎ Training staff at all levels in environmental issues and responsibilities;
∎ Preparing the Environmental Management System (EMS) documents as per the different Environmental Compliance requirements;
∎ Preparing factory for Compliance audit.
∎ Any other task assigned by management.
