Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture/Master of Science (MSc) in Agriculture or a related field. MBA degree is preferred.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Adequate knowhow about cold storage and its management.
∎ Visit and survey cold storage for collecting data of seasonal/imported fruits and vegetables in different location of Bangladesh.
∎ Local market research and analysis to identify feasibility for storage of seasonal fruits, Onion and vegetables round the year in Bangladesh.
∎ Imported fruits research and feasibility of storage.
∎ Designing and maintaining calendar for existing and upcoming Crops producing, Harvesting and storage arrangement.
∎ Manage and allocate resources effectively, including labor, equipment, and budgetary resources for the cold storage.
∎ Develop and manage cold storage budgets, tracking expenses and revenue to ensure financial targets.
∎ To generate ideas of business diversification for future requirement related with cold storage.
∎ Continuous survey on competitors’ cold storage.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ 5-8 years of proven experience in a similar role in the agriculture sector
∎ Strong knowledge of agricultural practices.
∎ Experience working in Agriculture Project, Agro Based firms, Cold storage Management.
∎ Hard working in nature.
