Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Poultry Science, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related discipline.

  • Candidates with a Diploma in Livestock or Poultry-related fields and relevant experience may also be considered.

  • Good understanding of production KPIs, including FCR, Body Weight, EEF, mortality, farm grades and production cost.

  • Ability to supervise and manage Field Executives and branch support staff.

  • Strong leadership, team management and farmer relationship skills.

  • Ability to identify production and farm performance issues and take timely corrective action.

  • Good understanding of farm SOPs, biosecurity, vaccination and seasonal management.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel and MS Word.

  • Strong communication, reporting and problem-solving skills.

  • Willingness to travel frequently and conduct regular farm visits.

  • Having a valid motorcycle driving license will be an added advantage.



Responsibilities & Context:

A. Production & Performance Management

  • Ensure achievement of branch production KPIs including FCR, Body Weight, EEF, Farm Grades and Production Cost within approved budget and targets.

  • Monitor flock performance daily through flock charts and reports submitted by Field Executives, identify performance gaps and ensure immediate corrective action.

  • Closely monitor poor-performing and high-risk farms through physical visits, video calls and regular follow-up with concerned Field Executives.

  • Ensure continuous improvement in branch performance by reducing F/F+ Grade farms and increasing the proportion of A/B/C Grade farms month-on-month.

  • Conduct periodic farm visits to assess flock conditions, verify management practices and ensure necessary corrective measures are implemented.

B. Placement & Farm Capacity Management

  • Achieve the approved weekly DOC placement target of the branch as per budget.

  • Prepare the branch-wise chick placement plan and submit the chick requirement/schedule to the Branch Coordinator at least 4 days prior to the scheduled allocation.

  • Ensure a minimum of 12 running farms per Field Executive, subject to approved operational requirements and branch capacity.

  • Ensure adequate availability of farms to achieve placement targets and maintain optimum utilization of available farm capacity.

C. Field Team Management & Development

  • Supervise the day-to-day activities, deployment and performance of Field Executives and other branch staff.

  • Ensure Field Executives regularly visit assigned farms and provide timely technical and management support to farmers.

  • Train, guide and motivate Field Executives to improve their technical capability, farm supervision and overall productivity.

  • Review individual Executive performance against placement, farm productivity, FCR, mortality, farm grades and other assigned KPIs.

D. Farm Management & SOP Compliance

  • Ensure implementation of company-prescribed farm management practices and SOPs across all farms under the branch.

  • Monitor critical management areas including brooding, feeding, watering, vaccination, biosecurity, litter management, ventilation and seasonal management practices.

  • Escalate major production, disease, mortality or operational issues to the Branch Coordinator/concerned technical authority without delay.

E. Farmer Management & Branch Development

  • Maintain regular communication with farmers and address operational or performance-related issues promptly.

  • Motivate and guide farmers toward improvement in flock performance and farm grading.

  • Identify and develop suitable new farmers/farms to maintain required placement capacity and support branch growth.

  • Take necessary measures to retain good-performing farmers and reduce farmer dropout.

F. Reporting & Administrative Control

  • Ensure timely preparation, verification and submission of all required daily, weekly & monthly branch reports.

  • Review and validate reports submitted by Field Executives before forwarding consolidated branch information to the Branch Coordinator.

  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs and instructions issued by the Branch Coordinator/management.
