Experience:
Strong technical knowledge of screen printing and heat transfer printing techniques on knit fabrics;
Basic understanding of print-related color matching, chemical application, and printing machines;
Good command of Microsoft Office and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop – optional but a plus);
Strong communication skills (both in Bengali & English) and ability to coordinate cross-functionally;
Attention to detail, problem-solving attitude, and strong documentation skills.
Must be willing to work on the factory floor and interact with multiple teams (e.g., design, production, QA, merchandising).
Job Summary:
This Position (Executive – Printing (Development) will be responsible for supporting the development of innovative, high-quality print designs and techniques for Knit garments. The role includes sampling coordination, print technique development (e.g., pigment, discharge, plastisol, flock, foil, puff), and ensuring that all print processes meet buyer specifications and production feasibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Print Development & Sampling:
Develop new print techniques (pigment, rubber, puff, high-density, discharge, etc.) in coordination with design and production teams;
Follow up on sample print development, strike-offs, lab dips, and approvals from buyers or merchandising teams;
Collaborate with R&D, merchandising, and design teams to develop commercially viable and cost-effective print processes;
Process Management:
Ensure print processes are technically sound, repeatable, and aligned with bulk production capabilities;
Participate in pre-production meetings and provide technical input related to printing;
Assist in ensuring color fastness, print durability, and wash standards are met as per buyer requirements;
Documentation & Buyer Communication:
Maintain proper records of sample requests, test results, approvals, and buyer feedback;
Support communication with buyers or QA teams regarding sample comments and technical clarifications;
Quality & Compliance:
Ensure print development complies with buyer-specific standards, including eco-chemical usage (e.g., OEKO-TEX, GOTS, ZDHC);
Assist in resolving technical issues related to print quality, shrinkage, placement, or registration errors;
Technical Coordination:
Coordinate with screen-making, color separation, and print production teams to ensure accuracy in sample execution;
Review artwork and recommend necessary adjustments for print feasibility in bulk production;
