Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc / Diploma in Computer Science / Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) from Reputed University.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ A leading manufacturer and exporter of High Definition Porcelain Tableware from Bangladesh, equipped with the most modern state-of-the-art and latest machinery, having about 1,800 highly skilled and motivated employees.
∎ Job Location: Gazipur (Factory)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage factory overall IT Infrastructure, Networking and Software functions.
∎ Maintain computer systems and make sure that all departments IT related devices are functioning properly.
∎ Provide technical support and resolve hardware/software problems (pc, laptop, printer, barcode scanner, Inventory software, UPS/IPS, etc.)
∎ Maintain and configure various Wi-Fi routers, servers, and attendance devices.
∎ Check all LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi systems, CCTV Camera, PABX, IP Telephony, Video conferencing systems.
∎ Install antivirus and other necessary software on user Desktop/Laptop.
∎ Ensuring user Desktop/Laptop backup by central backup System.
∎ Outlook configuration on user Desktop/Laptop/Mobile, Microsoft Teams / One-Drive Support, etc.
∎ Collect necessary specifications for each department and make sure that their requirements are met.
∎ Provide training to the employees in using computers and help them understand the configuration of the systems.
∎ Responds courteously and efficiently to SAP & Octane (HR & Payroll) software and support the business users when and if required.
∎ CCTV/DVR/NVR Maintenance and Troubleshooting.
∎ Access Control/Time Attendance Device/PA System Maintenance and Troubleshooting.
∎ Troubleshooting of Computer Hardware & Network device.
∎ Receive complain and guide the user to solve the problem over phone/visit.
∎ Monitoring data connectivity and Internet services.
∎ Software Maintenance and Troubleshooting.
∎ Maintain the IT security system.
∎ Prepare weekly & monthly report on IT overall system related incident to Head of IT
∎ Any other task as assigned by the authority and management of PCIL.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Highly proficient and up to date with computer applications and online tools e.g. latest Microsoft suite of products.
∎ Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills, detail-oriented.
∎ Excellent communication & interpersonal skills (English written and verbal), good team player.
∎ Knowledge of global trends in the tableware/ceramic industry will be seen as an added advantage.
