Educational Requirements:
∎ At least Bachelor in Fashion Design Technology from any reputed public/private university.
∎ Skills Required: Adobe illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, MICROSOFT OFFICE
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To conduct continuous market research to identify new trends, fabrics and designs & prescribe it to marketing & merchandising team.
∎ To prescribe product type as per fashion trend in order to align business strategy based on research findings.
∎ To develop strong sourcing of fabrics and trims based on market analysis.
∎ To create sketches and CADs for development packages.
∎ To collaborate with technical designer and relevant team members to ensure that development packages are in line with what is needed
∎ To monitor sample development by solving technical issues (pattern/wash/styling), maintaining on time production etc.
∎ To assist merchandising team to develop samples timely as per buyer's requirements without errors.
∎ To study about different fashion fairs globally , get updated & prescribe merchandising & product development team accordingly.
∎ To provide fabric technical support to the other concern departments like Product Development, Merchandising team etc.
∎ To study & verify the Client-suitable fabrics and manage & supervise fabric development process.
∎ To analyze client's requirements for particular fabric development and ensure that fabric quality is achievable and can be maintained through development to bulk delivery.
∎ To closely monitor bulk fabric quality and troubleshoot problems with fabric supply chain and/or with operational teams.
∎ To manage & maintain relationship with Client fabric team ensuring that fabric development is met the procedures as per requirement.
∎ To work closely with concern departments to apply new techniques to meet Client's aesthetic requirements.
∎ Any other responsibility assigned by the management time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 35 years
∎ At least 5 years’ experience in Design & Development in any reputed woven garments industry.
∎ Good knowledge in fabric R & D, Design & Development.
∎ Strong back ground fabric development.
∎ Good knowledge about washing quality & design parameters
∎ Strong technical understanding of fabric construction and up to date knowledge on seasonal fabric trends.
∎ Strong management and problem solving skill and excellent sense of responsibility.
∎ Strong communication skill both verbal & electronic.
∎ Good team player.
∎ Self-Motivated & enable to work under pressure.
Salary: Negotiable
