Job Summary:

The Executive / Senior Executive – Sample Department plays a key role in coordinating and executing all types of garment samples as per buyer requirements. The role requires close collaboration with the sample room, merchandising, pattern, and production teams to ensure timely submission of high-quality samples, mainly in knitwear products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sample Coordination:

  • Coordinate with merchandising, pattern, and technical teams to understand sample requirements.

  • Manage daily sample request follow-ups and update sample tracking sheets.

  • Ensure timely execution and submission of all types of samples (proto, fit, size set, SMS, PP).

• Technical Follow-Up:

  • Understand buyer tech packs and provide accurate instructions to the sample team.

  • Coordinate with pattern makers and sample tailors to ensure accurate sample development.

  • Assist in reviewing sample comments and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

• Communication & Reporting:

  • Maintain regular communication with the merchandising team for updates and priorities.

  • Prepare daily/weekly reports on sample status and share with relevant stakeholders.

  • Attend internal meetings and communicate updates regarding sampling progress and challenges.

• Documentation & File Maintenance:

  • Maintain proper documentation of sample records, approvals, and buyer comments.

  • Ensure all sample files, patterns, and tech packs are organized and accessible.

• Support & Coordination:

  • Assist the Sample Manager in daily operations and team coordination.

  • Ensure fabric, trims, and accessories are arranged on time for sample development.
