Responsibilities & Context:
Plan and execute procurement based on demand.
Ensure timely product supply to the warehouse.
Maintain relationships with existing vendors & develop new sources.
Prepare and manage POs in ERP software.
Maintain proper procurement documentation including POs, invoices, delivery notes, etc.
Monitor stock levels, consumption, and leftover assessment.
Check bills and forward to accounts for payment.
Generate & analyze monthly/quarterly/yearly item movement reports.
Inform accounts about local item price fluctuations (with approval).
Verify and submit import-related documents to the bank.
Ensure stock availability and smooth distribution.
Assist in other SCM activities as required.
