Responsibilities & Context:
- Oversee the entire procurement cycle, including sourcing, negotiating, and acquiring goods and services.
- Work closely with internal teams to gather purchase orders and requisitions.
- Conduct price negotiations by evaluating quotations, contracts, terms, and pricing agreements.
- Support the preparation of regular procurement reports, track key trends and metrics, and share actionable insights with the line manager.
- Formulate strategies to enhance cost efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage the procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, purchase orders, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations, to ensure cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- Foster strong relationships with local suppliers/vendors to facilitate quotation collection.
- Review procurement expenses, implement cost-reduction initiatives, and monitor budget compliance to lower operational costs.
- Use ERP software to prepare and send purchase orders to vendors.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of procurement activities, contracts, and documentation within the ERP system.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on trends, pricing, and material availability, using these insights to refine procurement strategies.
