Responsibilities & Context:
Identify and evaluate sustainable materials and processes to enhance product eco-footprint.
Create new washing techniques, recipes, and value-added finishes. Develop sustainable and eco-friendly technologies.
Work with production, merchandising, QA, and compliance teams to ensure smooth rollout of new developments and support sampling/pilot runs.
Maintain technical documents (SOPs, recipes, reports) and prepare R&D performance reviews for management.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for technical non-conformities.
Analyze wash performance issues (shade variation, strength loss, pilling, color fastness, etc.) and provide corrective actions.
Plan, organize, and lead all Research & Development activities related to garment washing, dyeing effects, and finishing processes.
Maintain R&D lab equipment, testing instruments, and ensure proper calibration.
