Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The candidate must have strong background in performing Fabric R & D department. To provide fabric technical support to the other concern departments like Product Development, Merchandising team, etc. Study & verify the Buyer's-suitable fabrics and manage & supervise fabric development process. Analyse Buyer's requirements for particular fabric development and ensure that fabric quality is achievable and can be maintained through development to bulk delivery. To closely monitor bulk fabric quality and troubleshoot problems with fabric supply chain and/or with operational teams. To manage & maintain relationship with fabric team ensuring that fabric development is met the procedures as per requirement. To work closely with concern departments to apply new techniques to meet Buyer's aesthetic requirements. Proper clarification of problem & find out the sources of problem & immediate solution. Good communication Skill in English & Bangle as well as Computer & E-mail. Able to knit fabric swatch analysis, specially capable to select yarn & knitting M/C & GG selection & YD Stripe Repeat, GSM & YD Program in different fabrications. Having good knowledge about Knit Fabric Finishing, Dia & Shrinkage. Able to make record keeping for all Knitting R&D related issue (with Swatch) accordingly Job wise & Season wise. Any other responsibility assigned by the management.
