Job Responsibilities:
∎ Good knowledge of fabric
∎ Good communication skill
∎ Study market trends, latest finishes and fabric developments
∎ Fabric sourcing & development as per buyer requirement
∎ Fabric price negotiation with suppliers
∎ Research on yarn price and market trend
∎ Fabric costing
∎ Sourcing yarn and get knitting done from knitting subcontractors (In case factories are not sourcing finished fabric)
∎ Dealing with fabric sourcing - sourcing of greige fabric or finished fabric from suppliers
∎ Dealing with fabric suppliers for quality-related issues, fabric to be reprocessed, and rejected fabrics
∎ Fabric inventory management
∎ Coordination with buyers/buying houses for fabric quality parameters, fabric development
∎ Dealing with all documentation works like PO raising, making suppliers' Payments (L/C, TT or local bills), follow-up with the transporter and getting material in-house
∎ Developing fabric reference library.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 29 years
∎ Pleasing personality, ability to deal with the customers with a positive attitude.
∎ Good verbal and written communication skills.
∎ Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
∎ Smart in situation handling.
∎ Presentable, target oriented, good communicator, willing to develop career in garments industry and self-confident.
∎ Excellent interpersonal skill.
∎ Excellent communication skill both in English & Bengali.
