Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science and Engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user's specialised role
∎ Design and implement database in accordance to end users information needs and views
∎ Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner
∎ Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data
∎ Minimise database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
∎ Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users
∎ Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
∎ Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
∎ Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required
∎ Performance tuning (indexing, analyzing execution plan), Administering (database backup -restore service), DRS managing, Set security messure, access controlling
∎ Enable audit tools for log, find out the changes, and other sensative information by configuring and periodic checking
∎ Mange data and database by following the ISO standrad, GRC
∎ Ensure database backup and replication service to prevent data loss. Database normalization, handing the relational database
Additional Requirements:
∎ Strong communication skills and techno-functional leadership.
∎ Strong commercial acumen and able to work in a high-pressure environment.
∎ Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards
∎ At least five years of experience of Database Programming at relevant field.
∎ Ability of new technology adaptation & implementation.
