Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Social Science (MSS)
∎ Minimum Graduate in any discipline preferably from Social welfare / Science, Law,
∎ Candidates having Masters or relevant training will be preferred.
∎ Training/Trade Course: Having 6 months fire safety training from recognized institute
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 4 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Fire Safety Training, Social Compliance
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments
Job Context:
∎ Having 6 months of fire safety training (Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting & Rescue) from recognized institute i.e. FSM from BFSCD, International Certification on Fire Safety.
∎ Additional certifications i.e. Certified in First Aid and CPR, Hot work Safety Assessor, Risk Assessment, Trained the Trainer program (TtT), PGD in Social Compliance from BIM etc.
∎ Certificate in EHS Solid Waste management, Cleaner Production, Energy Efficiency & Carbon reduction, Chemical Management, SAC HIGG Training.
∎ Certificate in internal /Lead Auditor ISO14001/ISO18001/SA8000 etc.
∎ Sound Knowledge on Process & Procedure on Certification/audit of Better work, WCA, Accord, HIGG, FCCA, SEDEX, C-TPAT & GSV.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To gain and retain, sufficient skills and technical knowledge on and apply them in the course of all duties in order to meet the requirements of the Compliance department.
∎ Actively participate and facilitate training as directed
∎ Maintain the continuity of your team's workload and Work together as a team, to build commitment and strengthen the teams' collective skills base.
∎ Maintain a high level of personal appearance and grooming in line with the department.
∎ Efficiently execute departmental operational functions and to adhere to all relevant company procedures and regulations.
∎ Ensure that all documentation and records are accurate, filed appropriately and kept up to date and can be produced on request.
∎ Provide the highest standards of customer service, and ensure a firm but friendly customer approach even during demanding periods.
∎ Ensure that the team standard does not result in justified customer complaints against the department.
∎ Communicate and liaise with all members of the Compliance & Support department to ensure collaborative working practices.
∎ Familiar with all phases of development and implementation of an effective compliance program.
∎ Supports departments by Managing the day-to-day operation of Factory Compliance & preparing audit data by compiling and analyzing internal and external information and monitoring for close out the findings
∎ Maintain and make the renewal of all necessary licenses/certificates/permits.
∎ Interact with factory floor personnel to prepare them for compliance audits and make them aware of maintaining better compliance standards.
∎ Prepare & update all compliance-related documents/registers as per the buyer's requirement. Do all paperwork related to keeping office and factory ready to face audits.
∎ Monitors, and as necessary, coordinates compliance activities of other departments to remain abreast of the status of all compliance activities and to identify trends.
∎ Provides reports on a regular basis, and as directed or requested, to keep the management informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts.
∎ Look after the occupational health & safety, Environmental safety issues of the factory.
∎ To maintain all kinds of training records.
∎ Ensure at all times that fire safety requirements contained in the Emergency Response Plan are complied with;
∎ Participate in communication methods, such as Safety committee meetings and notices to ensure relevant information is communicated across the department of facilities and that management is included.
∎ Ensure original MSDS, Proper chemical storage, labeling, secondary containment and Maintain chemical inventory sheets and update on a regular basis.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by management.

∎ Age 23 to 32 years
