Additional Requirements:
∎ Strong knowledge of BNBC, ACI, ASTM, and related design codes.
∎ Proficiency in design and drafting software (ETABS, AutoCAD, STAAD.
∎ Pro, SAFE, etc.).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Designing structural systems (e.g., beams, slabs, columns, foundations) using software like ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, or STAAD.
∎ Conducting load analysis (dead, live, wind, seismic) in accordance with BNBC and other relevant codes.
∎ Preparing detailed design reports, drawings, and structural calculation sheets.
∎ Coordinating with architects, civil engineers, and MEP teams to ensure structural compatibility in design and execution.
∎ Inspecting on-site work to verify compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
∎ Monitoring construction processes, ensuring safety and structural integrity.
∎ Performing material testing and evaluating the quality of construction materials (e.g., concrete, steel, aggregates).
∎ Assisting in retrofit design or structural assessment of existing buildings (if required).Communicating with clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies for project approvals and updates.
∎ Preparing documentation for regulatory submissions and project handovers.
∎ Able to handle all the documents as well as of RSC/Accord requirements.
