Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To receive orders from buyer.v
∎ To obtain order confirmation from Director.v
∎ To arrange price quotation from suppliers, analyze and report to Director for final decision.
∎ To arrange procurement of fabrics, trims and accessories.
∎ To liaison with customers, buying house and suppliers.
∎ To arrange clarification of production from buyers.v
∎ To obtain proforma invoice from suppliers.
∎ To ensure and follow up the in housing of purchase items.
∎ To take approval of fabric, accessories and distribute store and production floor.
∎ To correspond with supplier about debit note.
∎ To obtain sample request and arrange delivery of sample.
∎ To arrange final inspection by buyer.
∎ Any other action which is required to be taken in need as directed by the Management.
∎ Develop new buyers and accordingly identify a unique, leading buyer.
∎ Communicate with the buyer's every stage and observe the present international clothing marketing situation concepts of our business.
∎ Making quotation sheet for offer the price to buyer and try achieving maximum profit gain.
∎ Making per month capacity booking status on the basis of per hour production for in-time shipment besides reduce unwanted over time and night program.
∎ After price confirmation upon receipt the new order sheet thereafter.
∎ Merchandiser has to allocate the particular Asst. Merchandiser who follows- up the accounts successfully.
∎ Monitor all the stage of before and after production time such as \ Fabric booking, Accessories booking, Accessories in house and quality status, cutting sequence, production lead time, Quality measure, Goods pre- inspection, Shipment status and finally follow up to receiving of the final payment.
∎ Verify the price, shipment date, mode of transport etc. indication of Master L/C with the P.O sheet.
∎ Must be pro-active and should be a roll of a team player.
∎ Any other job as assigned by the management time to time.
