• Experience: 10–15 years in Non-Life Insurance Underwriting.

• Professional Qualification: ABIA (Bangladesh) diploma holders will be preferred.

• Technical Skills: Deep understanding of Tariff and Non-Tariff pricing models; proficiency in integrated insurance ERP software.

• Soft Skills: Strong negotiation skills with brokers/clients and the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.

We are looking for a strong professional to lead our Underwriting Department for Non-Life Insurance Company.

Key Responsibilities

• Risk Evaluation: Analyze and assess complex risks for corporate and individual clients in Non-Life categories (Marine Hull/Cargo, Industrial All Risks, Engineering, and Liability).

• Pricing & Quotation: Determine appropriate premium rates and policy terms based on loss history, market trends, and actuary data.

• Departmental Management: Supervise a team of underwriters, approve high-value quotes, and set individual binding authorities.

• Compliance: Ensure all underwriting activities strictly follow the Insurance Act 2010 and IDRA circulars.

• Policy Issuance: Oversee the accuracy of policy schedules, endorsements, and renewals.

• Mobile bill, Provident fund, Life Insurance, Gratuity.
