Job Summary:
Nourish Poultry & Hatchery Limited is one of the leading livestock and agro-based Companies in Bangladesh. The Company is seeking a qualified Environment Audit Officer to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainable practices across its operations. The role involves conducting environmental audits, monitoring waste management systems, maintaining compliance records, and supporting continuous environmental improvement in farms, hatcheries, and feed mills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular environmental audits at poultry farms, feed mills, hatcheries, and processing units.
Ensure compliance with environmental laws, rules, and standards set by the Department of Environment.
Monitor waste management practices including poultry litter, wastewater, solid waste, and emissions.
Identify environmental risks and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain environmental records, permits, and compliance documentation.
Liaise with government agencies, auditors, and consultants during inspections and regulatory audits.
Evaluate environmental management practices aligned with ISO 14001 and similar certifications where applicable.
Conduct environmental awareness sessions and training for staff on compliance and best practices.
Prepare audit reports and present findings to management.
Coordinate with regulatory authorities during environmental inspections and audits.
Conduct environmental awareness and training programs for employees and farm staff.
Monitor environmental performance indicators such as net carbon emission, air quality, odor control, wastewater discharge, and waste disposal practices.
Follow up on corrective actions from environmental audits.
