Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ 7 years of professional experience working in renewable energy sector;
∎ 5 years of professional experience working with private companies, banks, MFIs in renewable energy sector;
∎ 3 years professional experience in an international organisation would be an advantage;
∎ In-depth understanding of developing bankable business plan, understanding investors requirements, start-ups ecosystem;
∎ Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English and Bangla, proficiency in German language will be an advantage;
∎ Excellent command of MS-Office and other web-based applications/software tools;
∎ Good working knowledge of modern telecommunication/IT systems;
∎ Ability to work well under pressure and must be a strong team player;
∎ Must have good interpersonal and communication skills;
∎ Ability to work in an intercultural environment.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The position holder is responsible for the below tasks:
∎ Managing an area of responsibility that forms part of the programme objectives, team agreements and/or agreements with the superior
∎ Assisting project/programme initiatives to provide professional advisory services to and cooperate with a broad range of target groups
∎ Advice supervisor on all task when implementing GIZ rules and regulation
∎ Advice supervisor in the field of project's planning, steering and monitoring
∎ Independently implement goals and requirements set by the line manager
∎ Make decisions which have a short-term effect within a limited project area/ unit
∎ Assist supervisor to identify day to day problem and suggest appropriate solution
∎ Supervise the development and implementation of project plans and activities, especially on electric Mobility (E-mobility), including preparation of work plans and required reports;
∎ Establish and maintain productive relationships with main political partner and implementing partners;
∎ Provide expertise on the involvement of private sector, banks, investors in the area of e-mobility;
∎ Assist the Project Manager/Coordinator in supervising strategic alignment of programme activities for the development of E-mobility sector;
∎ Monitor operational budget against funds availability for the program components on e-mobility;
∎ Develop ideas and concepts for new activities in line with programme objectives, outputs and indicators;
∎ Identify needs for external support and advice; definition of terms of references, selection and supervision of contracted third parties including performance evaluation;
∎ Plan and prepare workshops, seminars, and other events on subjects that are related to the project’s field of activities;
∎ Coordinate with private sector entities and other relevant stakeholders to achieve programme objective;
∎ Assist supervisor on all task when implementing GIZ rules and regulation;
∎ Exchange of expertise, both regional and global as well as internal as external on the topics of e-mobility.
∎ A. Project Background
∎ The aim of the project titled “Transition to sustainable e-mobility (Trans2SMo)” is to promote innovative solutions for climate protection and energy efficiency in the transport sector, with a focus on optimising rapid, self-sustaining electrification.
∎ Responsibilities
∎ The position holder is responsible for the below tasks:
