•       Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in IT support, endpoint management, or technical support roles

•       Proven experience in a banking or financial services environment preferred

•       Demonstrated experience in hardware troubleshooting, asset management, and user support delivery

Preferred Certifications:

•       Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, ITIL Foundation, CCNA, or equivalent

•       Experience with banking software applications and core banking systems

•       Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and endpoint protection solutions

Job Grade: Officer – Senior Executive Officer 

Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC is seeking a dedicated and technically proficient ICT Endpoint Support Officer to join our dynamic Information and Communication Technology (ICT) team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of endpoint devices and delivering exceptional user support services across our extensive branch network and corporate offices. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our technology infrastructure standards while supporting our digital banking operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices

  • Deploy new endpoint hardware and perform OS installations, driver updates, and firmware upgrades

  • Manage hardware inventory, including asset tracking and disposal in compliance with bank policies

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware issues such as RAM, HDD/SSD, and motherboard replacements

  • Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure hardware reliability and minimize downtime

  • Troubleshoot Windows OS-related issues, including login problems, performance issues, and system errors

  • Provide technical support for Microsoft Office, Outlook, banking applications, and other business software

  • Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for hardware and software service requests

  • Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims and hardware repairs

  • Provide on-site and remote technical assistance to branch staff and users

  • Escalate complex technical problems to the appropriate ICT teams when necessary

  • Ensure endpoint devices comply with bank security policies and regulatory requirements

  • Maintain security configurations, including encryption, BIOS settings, and access controls

  • Document all support activities and maintain detailed records of system configurations
