Job Purpose: Empower economically disadvantaged out of school youth (ages 17–35), including both young men and women, through community driven occupational and transferable skills training paired with job placement opportunities. This initiative directly addresses gender disparities in employment—especially in the informal economy—by integrating gender responsive approaches that ensure equitable access to vocational training and economic empowerment.
Job Responsibilities:
Promote and uphold UCEP Bangladesh’s values, vision, mission, and goals across all interventions, ensuring alignment with strategic documents and the value chain approach in the skills ecosystem.
Implement project activities at both TVET institute and community levels as per the annual work plan, targets, and guidelines.
Conduct social mapping and mobilize communities to identify and enroll potential trainees, including girls, PWDs, ethnic minorities, and other marginalized groups.
Build rapport and maintain regular communication with trainees, parents, communities, and partners to support enrollment, retention, and community engagement.
Organize motivational sessions, school/community meetings, and awareness campaigns to promote inclusion, decent work, and technical education.
Conduct career counseling sessions with the help of employers, alumni, industry experts, and returnee migrants to guide students toward meaningful employment.
Facilitate entrepreneurship development training and connect graduates to financial institutions or programs for self-employment and startup support.
Develop graduate profiles, update the job portal, and support both self and wage employment pathways by liaising with employers, trade bodies, and recruiting agencies locally and abroad.
Arrange on-the-job training (OJT), apprenticeships, and job placement opportunities in relevant industries.
Track and monitor employment status of graduates, conduct workplace/home follow-ups, and ensure regular updates on the job portal.
Organize job fairs, Employer’s Day, and employer/advisory council meetings to strengthen industry linkage and graduate employability.
Conduct and support data collection for tracer studies, job market surveys, and community needs assessments to inform programming.
Collaborate with TVET teams to align training content and delivery with labor market demands and evolving occupational requirements.
Develop and distribute IEC materials to promote employment rights, decent work concepts, and UCEP Bangladesh’s programs to relevant stakeholders.
Strengthen Youth Councils at school/institute level and promote their active participation in institutional events and decision-making.
Lead advocacy and celebration events engaging local authorities, media, CSOs, and CBOs to promote inclusion, skills development, and community ownership.
Ensure gender equity, safeguarding, confidentiality, and inclusion in all aspects of work, in compliance with UCEP Bangladesh’s policies and provide field-level support as needed.
To carry out any other relevant tasks assigned by the authority as and when necessary.

Monthly Salary: BDT. 34,550/- TDS (Tax deducted at source) and any other statutory deductions will be applied as per government rules and UCEP policies.
