Job Responsibilities:
∎ The incumbent will be responsible for the following:
∎ Student Management:
∎ Provide counselling service that inculcates the student(s) for advanced education.
∎ Review both current and past reports about the student(s), in a bid to check their progress levels and also make further recommendations if need be.
∎ Maintain documentation for complete processing for individuals and follow up on prospective students.
∎ Corporate communication might be required on B2B basis based upon requirement.
∎ Provide information about various courses or programs via social media, telephone, physical interaction as deemed necessary
∎ Serve as a guide for students when applying for scholarship and other forms of academic funding.
∎ Draft media releases, features, transcripts and translations in both Bangla and English.
∎ To assist in content development for Annual Reports, Corporate Brochures, Audio Visuals etc.
∎ To develop content for all official digital platforms.
∎ Maintain a coordinated communication channel amongst the company's various partners.
∎ Work with ad agencies and/or educational firms especially in Bangladesh, Singapore and India.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least three (3) years of (uninterrupted) working experience in relevant fields/customer service.
∎ Excellent communication skill (especially listening skills) is highly required for an education counselor to have to be good on the job.
∎ Must be smart, presentable, organized and punctual.
∎ Patience should be a virtue worn at all times by individuals who work as education counselors.
∎ Female are encouraged to apply but must be willing to travel within city for corporate visits.
∎ Ability to be proactive and not reactive at all times is of great importance
∎ Knowledge about various ICT programs is preferable.
∎ Special Skill /Training:
∎ Excellent writing and verbal skills in both Bangla and English;
∎ Preferred knowledge of Excel Sheet, Bangla typing, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and HTML;
∎ A team player and must acquire excellent interpersonal communication skills for dealing with both internal and external stakeholders;
∎ Adaptive to new technology related to communications;
∎ Should be able to travel outside Dhaka when needed and organise events which might take place in the evening or during weekends.
