Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemical Technical/Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Science
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
ECR, ETP
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Garments Accessories, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Total Guide line about chemical handling procedure.
∎ Perform full responsibilities as a factory chemist and follow the Chemical & component purchasing procedure to secure product from hazard.
∎ Regular follow-up on ETP operation. And fulfill the entire ETP performance related requirement.
∎ Find the Root cause against test failing issues and take the corrective & preventive action against the Failure.
∎ Conduct internal chemical audit in factory and take necessity steps to recover the audit findings.
∎ Provide the Guideline about ZDHC & Clean Chain procedure to select right suppliers to eliminate hazardous chemical from final product.
∎ Keep monthly water and electricity consumption data update.
∎ Arrange 3rd party test (when required) and evaluate the report.
∎ Make chemical awareness with all suppliers by sending updated chemical restriction related documents & collect guarantee letters from chemical suppliers.
∎ Conduct monthly chemical/ ETP training with all concern people.
∎ Arrange meeting in a regular basis at factory for increasing awareness among the workers & staffs.
∎ Communicate with brand to fulfill their requirements.
∎ All types of e-mail correspondence with buyer as well as in domestic etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Have working knowledge on HIGG, SIPP, BCMP.
∎ Ability to work in a fast working environment.
∎ Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
∎ Good command in English & Bengali.
∎ Good skills on MS word, Excel & power Point.
∎ Have the ability to type in both Bengali & English
∎ Good in teamwork.
∎ Candidate is expected to be very proactive, dynamic and self-motivated.
