∎ Age 35 to 45 years
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ * Collaborate with the merchandising and dyeing/knitting teams to understand fabric requirements and specifications for fabric development, sampling and bulk orders.
∎ * To achieve desired fabric characteristics and quality, candidates must have in-depth knowledge about various knitting / Dyeing process parameters, fabric structure etc.
∎ * Must have know-how on how to evaluate fabric swatches based on color consistency, hand feel, composition, shrinkage, durability, and other relevant parameters.
∎ * A strong technical knowledge of yarns, fabrics, print processes, knit construction, fabric finishes, washing techniques.
∎ * An analytical understanding of color is essential.
∎ * Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact and build relationships and quality work as a team.
∎ * Prepare Dyeing plan and provide fabric delivery flow to merchandisers and planning department to achieve on time delivery.
∎ * Follow up Time & Action (TNA) with the factory to ensure timely fabric in-house.
∎ * Must have prepare report on production, maintenance, people, quality, safety, consumption, monthly stock, and production cost as assigned.
∎ * Must ensure fabric is in-housed on time to ensure on-time cutting and update quality and merchant team.
∎ * Must oversee fabric inspection report and ensure fabric match against approved parameters.
∎ * Any other relates job(s) as assign by the management time to time.
