Proven experience as a Draftsman in a design, construction, or manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant drafting/design software.
Knowledge of design standards and building codes (if applicable).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
Job Context:
The Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or designers. The role requires precision, technical knowledge, and proficiency in CAD software to ensure all drawings meet project and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, and detailed designs as per project requirements.
Convert conceptual sketches and ideas into accurate technical drawings.
Assist in revising and updating existing drawings as required.
Ensure drawings comply with design standards, company policies, and safety regulations.
Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other team members to gather design inputs.
Maintain proper records and backup of all drawings and related documents.
Participate in site visits for measurements or drawing verification when necessary.
Provide technical support during design and project execution phases.
