Job Context:
∎ RDRS is a leading national development organization in Bangladesh working for the poor and underprivileged communities across the country with special focus on north-west Bangladesh. Established in 1972 as the field program of Lutheran World Federation, Geneva, RDRS became a national development organization in 1997 under the Trust Act.
∎ RDRS Bangladesh is inviting applications from interested qualified and deserving candidates to apply for the position of Divisional Manager (Microenterprise - Unnati). The Divisional Manager (Microenterprise – Unnati) is responsible for overall management and supervision of the field operation, planning and monitoring of Microenterprise program. S/he will also be responsible for making the program sustainable and effective in the context of RDRS strategy. To achieve this goal s/he will develop the operational policies and procedures, prepare a business plan, set annual targets, establish effective monitoring, and prepare monitoring and performance reports. S/he will have to ensure proper implementation, follow-up and supervision of all microenterprise staff and activity of RDRS microenterprise program within his/her specified jurisdiction.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure planning, implementation and monitoring of RDRS Microenterprise program;
∎ Ensure smooth Microenterprise field program operation in his/her jurisdiction through regular field visit and sharing feedback, exploring new ideas for developing better policy, system and procedures;
∎ Prepare annual budget and monitor the budget for effective utilization;
∎ Ensure regular supervision and monitoring of field program from branch to project unit level and provide essential support and guidance;
∎ Conduct staff performance assessment for annual increment, reward and if necessary impose punishment/penalties for low performing staff;
∎ To extend cooperation to all colleagues and to maintain a congenial environment;
∎ Ensure on time submission of all kinds of reports to management and to external stakeholders;
∎ Assist in formulating and preparing Microenterprise policy, manuals as and when required and initiate steps to modify /amend the existing manuals;
∎ To oversee Regional Managers (Microenterprise) to achieve 100% financial sustainability of the respective program unit;
∎ Assist the national and international consultants, visitors and donors as per need of the microfinance program;
∎ Maintain proper coordination and liaison with other departments of RDRS and external agencies;
∎ Undertake time-to-time survey, and program evaluations to measure microenterprise program outcomes and impacts;
∎ Represents RDRS in national/ international forum;
∎ Any other business /tasks as assigned by the management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 48 years
∎ Both male and female are allowed to apply;
∎ 10 years of working experience in Microenterprise/ Microfinance Program of which 03 years in a similar position in Microenterprise program;
∎ Computer Literacy: Sound Knowledge on Microsoft Office package;
∎ Report writing skills in English and Bengali;
∎ Good Communication and speaking skills in both English and Bengali;
∎ Age may be relaxed for deserving candidates.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 73500 (Monthly)
∎ Salary is negotiable based on experience
