Food Distribution
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist the Distribution Officer in the smooth management of food and NFI distributions in the area of intervention.
∎ Assist the Distribution Officer to ensure that proper procedures for distributions are followed according to the approved quantities and ensure that all items to be distributed are properly accounted for.
∎ Assist the Distribution Officer in the distribution of commodities to eligible beneficiaries by strictly following the verification process and methodology and standards defined by Tdh.
∎ Assist Distribution Officer in an information awareness campaigns to inform beneficiaries on distribution-related information.
∎ Assist the Distribution Officer for the creation of reports on distributions and assistance provided to the beneficiary during distributions.
∎ Make sure all necessary distribution equipment's are available at the distributions point, including forms and visibility.
∎ Supervise loading/unloading of the vehicles dedicated to the distributions.
∎ In collaboration with the Logistics Department, contribute to availability of safe and suitable storage capacity.
∎ Assist the Distribution Officer with communication of information for data entry after distributions as required.
∎ Where required, gather and provide on regular basis necessary information, data, activity pictures, etc.
∎ This list of activities is not exhaustive and additional activities may be requested by Tdh management according to the needs of the project.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Proven experience with (I)NGO in relief context (minimum 2 years)
∎ Proven experience in related field - Food and NFI Distribution (minimum 1 year)
∎ Ability to accomplish assigned tasks accurately and by established deadlines
∎ Proficient in written and spoken English
∎ Fluency in local language will be considered as a plus
∎ Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
∎ Excellent organization and communication skills
∎ Professionalism, honesty and thoroughness
Salary: Tk. 28000 (Monthly)
