Job Context:
∎ As a dispenser he will be responsible for preparing and administering appropriate pharmaceuticals to patients in IRC’S COVID 19 response program. He will achieve this either by executing a physician`s order or by addressing the patient`s problems and needs.
∎ Work Location: Shamlapur Isolation Centre in Camp 23, Teknaf, Cox`s bazar
∎ Contract Length: Till December 31, 2021
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Label, package and compound pharmaceuticals so that all medications are properly dispensed.
∎ Review physician orders and prepare medications accordingly.
∎ Monitor patients' drug therapies.
∎ Make sure all federal and state drug laws are followed, which involves removing expired drugs from the premises, maintaining records of all controlled substances and informing management of any changes that need to be made.
∎ Ensure a safe environment is maintained within the pharmacy.
∎ Any other task assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year of relevant experience
∎ Ability and flexibility to understand the cultural and political environment.
∎ Skills to provide sensitive and appropriate medical counselling.
∎ Excellent communication skills.
∎ Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure in a stressful environment, displaying patience, compassion and diplomacy.
∎ Ability to be innovative, flexible, adaptive, and willingness to work in challenging situations.
∎ Ability to live in challenging conditions and ability to work under difficult, high pressure situations.
Salary: Negotiable
