Job Context:
∎ JAAGO Foundation Trust, in partnership with CARE and funded by USAID, is implementing the BIJOYEE project, focusing on Positive Youth Development (PYD). The project is expected to run for five years (August 2023 to July 2028). It aims to empower young people in Bangladesh to reach their full potential through life skills training, employment opportunities, civic awareness, resilience to anti-democratic and violent extremist values, and improved marketability and employability.
∎ About the Role: JAAGO Foundation is seeking a qualified Digital and Social Media officer for its BIJOYEE project. This position, based in Dhaka, will be responsible for managing the digital and social media communication of the project. The candidate will ensure smooth communications and branding through content development, virtual communication & campaign, material development & dissemination, media and community involvement in the context of Integrated youth engagement and empowerment. This position will also ensure BIJOYEE`s presence and visibility to advocate youth employment issues in collaboration with relevant government stakeholders, partners, donors, and media houses.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Quality media content development (narratives, photos, videos, graphics designs, human interest stories etc.)
∎ Support programs with writing and editing documents
∎ Maintain a database of media organizations and communicate with them on a need basis
∎ Work with media to maximize exposure in external media including print, electronic and social media as per defined targets
∎ Coordinate with programs for collecting information, reports, photographs, videos, human interest stories etc.
∎ Develop infographics, digital reports,s etc.
∎ Write creative pieces/ blogs/ articles on youth engagements and action.
∎ Manage contracts and relationships with vendors and business partners related to media and communication
∎ Write and distribute press releases for print and electronic media including social and digital platforms
∎ Plan and execute online campaign in social media as per project target and requirement
∎ Support the branding, campaign and communications initiatives of the project as required.
∎ Any other responsibilities assigned;

∎ Age at most 35 years
Salary: Tk. 60000 (Monthly)
