Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Technical qualification in Textile Technology/Apparel Manufacturing/Merchandising/Fashion designing will be an added advantage.
∎ Thorough knowledge on CAD based pattern is also required.
∎ Skills Required: Sample and CAD
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 12 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Review/understands buyer tech packs and comments and advise factory Technical Team for the development of samples accordingly.
∎ Work on set target to fit/PP sample and minimizing rejection with approval of the samples on 1st time basis. Ensure sample approval rate as per KPI.
∎ Upon receipt of the samples (made by the factory technical team), measures the garments samples as per buyer's standard.
∎ Evaluate workmanship, quality, and construction of garments samples to determine the accuracy.
∎ Validation of fittings of all the fit sample by using dummy before sending to the customers.
∎ Must be able to work out consumption of garments based on tech packs. Provide remedial advice to factory on the detected discrepancies with regard to workmanship & construction of garments, and also in the case of fabrics on issues like shading, weaving defects etc.
∎ Maintain internal Technical Team on a day-to-day basis for obtaining approval on pre-production and production samples to a commercial standard, as specified by the buyers.
∎ Work out on discrepancies, if arise on any samples and ensure remedy on time. Approval of the tech team, in order to ensure buyers approval and bulk production.
∎ Communicate with Production team, Technical team, Merchandising team and Buyer to keep aligned with all necessary requirement required to perform the role effectively.
∎ Guide the CLO, Garber and any other software user.
∎ Perform other duties as assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 38 years
∎ H & M buyer handling experience will get privilege.
∎ Must have through knowledge and understanding about the technical aspects of Garments in the area of pattern, sample making, fitting on life mode and sewing for apparel.
∎ Should have excellent communications skills in both written and spoken English & Bangali.
∎ Should be proficient in the use of the computer, especially MS Office package.
∎ Must have excellent interpersonal skills, proven ability to manage a team and deal with multi-level stakeholders.
∎ Should have proactive as well as reactive and able to work in a pressured environment and set target.
Salary:
