Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Full responsibility for quality function within the location throughout the entire manufacturing including incoming, in-the-process, section-wise, finished goods inspection, and testing.
∎ Maintain and improve product and operation quality by monitoring product requirements, SOP, compliance, and technical support for the factory.
∎ Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine the present standard and establish the proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished products.
∎ Develops and maintains quality assurance and control objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with the production department and other supporting departments.
∎ Develops a plan to promote facilitate and organizes training activities for all respective person related to product quality and reliability.
∎ Continuously review quality control processes procedures and capabilities in order to sustain the cost-effective and efficient methods for meeting quality requirements and marking a recommendation for improvement as appropriate for the garments factory.
∎ Responsible for buyers any quality inspection failing final inspection, in process / inline quality audit and inspection.
∎ Responsible for customer buyer quality claims and giving on-time customer feedback on any quality issue.
∎ Responsible for all technical audits and implementation of customer technical requirements.
∎ Should have knowledge of all aspects of quality control methods and practices including AQL levels and other prevailing international standards.
∎ Implement QC tools for lean manufacturing and quality visualization.
∎ Responsible for implementing quality assurance & controlling procedure for all production units.
∎ Develop and implement Company’s Quality Assurance Systems and Policies as per compliance.
∎ Supervise the handling of sample evaluation and production approval by reviewing the measurement, workmanship, fitting, accessories, etc., and giving inputs to the production staff.
∎ Supervise QC cycle of a production unit by controlling samples; follow up materials production in-house status, control materials in-house testing, organize PP meeting, cutting permission, inspection, reporting & record keeping.
∎ Supervise External and Internal Audit in parity of buyers SRM processes.
∎ Provide training and educate to the quality & production personnel, maintain the needed quality requirements throughout the production processes strictly following the buyer specifications.
∎ Implement measures to maintain cut to ship ratio, reduce trims and accessories rejections, NPT and report issues to the management.
∎ Monitor QA/QC performance by gathering relevant production data and producing statistical reports to be communicated with all related departments.
∎ Work with Department Head and design quality plan i.e. design the quality parameters of basic raw materials (for example, fiber, quality for yarn, yarn quality for fabric, grey quality for fabric, grey fabric quality for finished fabrics etc).
∎ Implement measures to ensure continuous improvement in buyer’s SRM rating.
∎ Ultimate responsible person for factory quality controlling process from buyer end.
∎ Report quality deterioration issues and issues to Line in charge and Production Manager immediately.
∎ Send final inspection report to buying-house, Department Head, Business Unit Head and top management on critical quality and inspection issues.
∎ Ensure implementation and execution of the SOPs and lean management through Quality Parameters and principle.
∎ This position will be responsible for overseeing the activity of the quality assurance department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization's products and/or development processes (including ISO14001 / ISO 9001 / OHSAS 18001), accreditation requirements, and business requirements across the organization through existing and new procedures. Regulate, control, and improve the quality of all processes throughout the business and the final product. Also, assist the departmental head in managing the audit program to ensure that all nonconformity raised against certification bodies during audits are effectively corrected and independently verified. Embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout the company.
