∎ In-depth knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, quality standards, and testing methodologies.
∎ Strong experience with international quality certifications (ISO, GOTS, BSCI, etc.) and industry regulations.
∎ Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the implementation and enforcement of quality control measures throughout the garment production process.
∎ Develop, implement, and manage quality policies, procedures, and standards to ensure all products meet the highest quality standards. Review and approve quality inspection reports and ensure corrective actions are taken for quality-related issues.
∎ Lead, mentor, and manage the Quality Control team to achieve performance targets and maintain high standards of quality.
∎ Supervise product inspections (incoming raw materials, in-process goods, and finished garments) to ensure adherence to quality standards.
∎ Collaborate with the production team to identify any potential quality issues during production and resolve them proactively.
∎ Ensure that all test procedures (fabric strength, colorfastness, shrinkage, etc.) are conducted per established protocols.
∎ Liaise with suppliers to ensure that raw materials, trims, and accessories meet the quality standards before being used in production
∎ Maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their quality expectations and ensuring these are met in production.
∎ Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and improve operational efficiency.
