∎ Age at least 45 years
∎ Minimum 10 years experience in senior level position
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Overall responsibility for manufacturing activities across the business and execution of short-term and long-term production plans, policies, and procedures.
∎ Plan weekly production schedules based on orders and stock provision.
∎ Create and implement best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve business performance.
∎ Ensure that manufacturing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality, and delivery targets which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market.
∎ Assure production efficiency through minimization of waste and optimum utilization of resources, also lead, develop, and implement variable cost productivity programs across all areas of responsibility·
∎ Assist sectional heads and their teams with any technical snags and be responsible for on-the-job training, job rotation, and staff vacation planning.
∎ Input and hold responsibility for manufacturing budgets develop direct reports and manage a high-performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value, and cost reductions·
∎ Support, comply, and ensure complicity with Health & Safety regulations, Quality and Environmental standards, and implement GMP, and FSMS at production.
∎ Maintain optimum inventory of raw materials & processed food products.
∎ Ensure products and raw materials are stored properly at optimum conditions.
∎ Develop & implement standards for high-quality food products.
∎ Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of production equipment to ensure a smooth work process.
