Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a smart and knowledgeable DevOps Engineer to be a part of our team. You should be able to perform software integrations as well as fix code bugs. Besides, you should also be able to set up new infrastructure, automation, and developmental tools. A candidate with excellent technical skills and an eye for detail will be considered.
∎ As a DevOps Engineer, you should have complete knowledge of DevOps and Agile principles. Moreover, you should also be familiar with various programming languages and databases. You should also be able to review and provide an update on execution and completion of various projects.
∎ To be able to perform in this job role, you should have excellent technical skills and a detail-oriented approach. Furthermore, you should be able to work independently as well in coordination with your team members. Your ability to provide excellent customer experience by developing functional systems will be advantageous.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Automating and streamlining our internal build processes
∎ Database Management (MsSql,MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB)
∎ Developing best practice for provisioning, scaling,configuration and monitoring for our systems.
∎ Working closely with the developer team on the design, deployment and maintenance
∎ Deployment of a monitoring system.
∎ Simplifying the development process and operations
∎ Developing appropriate DevOps channels
∎ Troubleshoot Production Systems Carry out approach such as risk management, clustering, load-balancing and failover
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2/3 years of experience as devops engineer in software firms / tech industry
∎ experience working as DevOps or SysAdmin Knowledge of cloud computing (AWS) CI/CD (Jenkins) Ansible for configuration management , IaC for terraform.
∎ Solid experience with container technologies (Docker & k8s)
∎ Experience on at least one scripting language (Python,Bash,go)
∎ Knowledge on Network Security
∎ Know-how of software development, testing, and configuration methodologies
