Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Bachelor Degree in Textile Technology/ Merchandising/ Fashion Design
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 6 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Merchandising
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Motivate, educate, and inspire the merchandising team and continuously look for ways to improve work efficiency and processes within the team.
∎ Liaise with factories in agreeing on Critical Path for all styles in order to ensure PCD dates are met.
∎ Ensure merchandising handover is done to the factory after the order is taken over from the development team.
∎ Ensure &Follow up on style hand over from the development team no sooner a new style is confirmed
∎ Ensure with a team up on pending lab dips/lab dip approvals from the point of handover from development to production.
∎ Ensure the delivery progress schedule, PCD movement and washing capacity schedules, on a timely manner and Liaise with Buyer in sending delivery progress update in order to ensure the relevant information is available for decision making.
∎ Ensure delivery progress with the team, factories, and fabric mills on a weekly basis bring in to attention of the manager of exceptions
∎ Arrange weekly progress meetings with Team
∎ Provide various KPI reports to Manager on a regular basis.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 38 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants must have experience in Jersey with any reputed multinational Buying/Sourcing/ Liaison.
∎ Have experience to lead a team
∎ Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Proven experience in mentoring a cross-functional team.
