Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters / Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, English and other relevant disciplines
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work with BGMEA management to create communications strategy.
∎ Develop and implement tailored communications plans based on BGMEA's strategic vision and goals.
∎ Prepare internal and external communication strategies for BGMEA.
∎ Draft messages, scripts, speeches, articles for BGMEA management.
∎ Coordinate social media communications effectively
∎ Coordinate and prepare communication materials like magazine, brochure, annual report, sustainability reporting, corporate AVs etc.
∎ Support all the ongoing communication works of BGMEA
∎ National and international media watch
∎ Prepare draft of minutes of the meeting.
∎ Overall supervision of communication dept.
∎ Organizing seminar, workshop, symposium, meeting and preparation of all required materials and logistics.
∎ Coordinate with all the functional departments of BGMEA
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 40 years
∎ Age 32 to 40 years (Age limit may be waived for competent candidate)
∎ Able to work independently and proactively under pressure.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s); Communication, branding, social media, publication, journalism etc.
∎ Good knowledge about global fashion industry
∎ Good understanding of the policy and strategic issues
∎ Understanding and experience about Bangladesh RMG industry will be treated as asset.
∎ Experience on photography, AV, media communication, writing and publication
∎ Computer skill: Operation of internet, e-mailing (Outlook), Microsoft word, Microsoft excel and Microsoft power point, social media, Photoshop, illustrator, video editing etc.
Salary: Negotiable
