Job Context:
∎ We are looking for an experienced Deputy Managing Director to control and
∎ oversee all business operations, people, and ventures. You will be the highest ranking manager in the organization and will be responsible for the overall success of the business.
∎ The ideal candidate will be a strategist and a leader able to steer the company to the
∎ most profitable direction while also implementing its vision, mission, and long-term
∎ goals. Very strong crisis management skills will also be essential since the managing
∎ director is the one expected to “save” the company in times of need. The goal is to
∎ ensure the company is constantly moving towards fulfilling its short-term and long term objectives and does not diverge from its strategic guidelines.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must have Loan & Investment disbursement, recovery capacity, maintain
∎ Procurememnt
∎ Develop department and organizational goals and monitor progress toward
∎ them.
∎ Manage the financial budget and expenses of the department, cutting costs
∎ where needed.
∎ Collaborate with other executive members regarding departmental needs.
∎ Update and negotiate department contracts with executives.
∎ Interview and appoint department leaders.
∎ Promoting and marketing the branch and its products
∎ Meeting with customers and resolving any problems or complaints
∎ Ensuring there’s a high level of customer service
∎ Monitoring sales targets
∎ Supervise activities of the branch.
∎ Bring in new customers and boosts profits

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Must have strong knowledge in Branch Management, Banking Operations,
∎ Business Development with leadership capability to manage and motivate
∎ employees.
∎ Strong knowledge in Credit Risk Analysis and Management of Core Risks.
∎ Demonstrated success in organizational capacity building, including fiscal
∎ management and budgeting, fundraising, managing relations with major
∎ donors, donor cultivation, people management, and programmatic oversight
∎ success
∎ Strong project management skills managing complex, multi-faceted projects
∎ and successfully operationalizing innovative programs resulting in measurable
∎ successes and program growth
∎ Proficient in using technology as a management reporting tool and experience
∎ working with information technology staff to develop and implement program
∎ evaluation systems
∎ Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and cross-cultural skills
∎ IT Savvy with MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint.
∎ Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations of regulatory bodies.
∎ Written & verbal communication skills in English.
