Job Context:
∎ Green Bangla Foundation is looking for an experienced Officer (Civil Engineer) to lead and oversee the work of employees of the organization. He will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of operations as well as setting strategic goals for the future.
∎ The goal will be to ensure the profitability of the organization`s activities to drive sustainable development and long-term success.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preferably worked in a multi-national environment and/or Embassy projects.
∎ Three (3) Projects worked on as Site Supervisor
∎ Oversees construction sites, sub-contractors, and workers to ensure a high level of quality and safety.
∎ Coordinate project activities of assigned project employees;
∎ Responsible for implementing the construction items shown in the drawings at the construction site.
∎ Supervision of day-to-day operations of the site works as per design, drawing, and specification maintaining quality control guidelines.
∎ Full-time close supervision of construction work as per design, drawing, and specification.
∎ To prepare daily activity plan of construction in conjunction with PM and contractor.
∎ Managing, monitoring the design documents supplied by architects and engineers.
∎ Good knowledge about finishing works.
∎ To check and maintain safety control guidelines.
∎ To follow-up material delivery as per project requirement.
∎ Understanding drawings of the project in detail.
∎ Day-to-day management of the sites including supervision and monitoring of the site labor force.
∎ Preparing report as required by the management.
∎ Any other responsibilities assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 2-3 years of experience in Construction (at least 2 years worked at construction sites)
∎ International construction supervision experience (Participated in at least one project abroad.)
∎ Must be target-oriented, able to fulfill responsibilities.
∎ Good knowledge of MS word, Excel, Powerpoint & AutoCAD
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Engineering Firms/Factory/Power Plant/Real Estate.
∎ Special Skill in English both writing & Speaking
∎ Manage existing & new potential customers by personal sales visits, using face-to-face contact to provide a personal service.
∎ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
∎ Must be a team player with good presentation skills.
∎ Should have a positive attitude.
∎ Ability to maintain self-composure in a high-pressure workplace.
Salary: Negotiable
