• 5–10 years of experience in textile R&D with a focus on woven or technical fabrics; oven or heat-resistant fabric experience is a strong advantage.

• Good understanding of weaving technologies, yarn behavior under thermal stress, and finishing/coating techniques.

• Experience with lab testing equipment and textile analysis.

• Strong coordination skills for cross-functional collaboration with production, quality, and commercial teams.

• Experience with CAD software for fabric design (optional but desirable).

• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.

Now, we are seeking a dynamic & energetic person to join us as “Deputy Manager/Manager, R&D (Woven Fabrics)”. The candidate has to perform following responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and execution of lab-scale and pilot-scale product development trials.

• Collaborate with the production team to scale up new products and improve existing fabric constructions.

• Evaluate new raw materials, yarns, coatings, and different chemical finished and it’s effect with viable solution.

• Conduct performance testing for heat resistance, shrinkage, dimensional stability, abrasion resistance, etc.

• Prepare technical documentation, process parameters, and product specifications.

• Interface with sales/marketing and customers to understand application requirements and translate them into product designs.

• Ensure that R&D outputs meet applicable regulatory, safety, and environmental standards (e.g., EN, ISO, ASTM).

• Support patent documentation and competitor benchmarking when applicable.

• Keep updated with new trends in woven fabric, specially fast-moving trend. Enforce safety protocols for handling hazardous or sensitive materials.
